Join us for a walkthrough of Eagle Online, setting up EagleMail, and making sure your technology is in working order. We will make sure you have all of the tools you need to start the semester off on the right foot. Plus you'll set up your FREE Microsoft Office.

Learn how to study smarter, not harder. We'll discuss study tips, note taking, and ways to utilize your time when you're already busy.

Now that you understand the expectations of your instructors and your workload, let's sit down and build a study schedule to set you up for success.

Let's take a look at what you actually need to gather at tax time: W-2s, 1099s (work + gig), 1098-T (tuition), scholarship letters, interest forms, and proof for credits/deductions. And, we'll provide and review a printable, quick checklist with a mini 'tax glossary' for tax-time to avoid last-minute panic.

PubMed is a free online resource providing over 36 million citations and abstracts of biomedical literature. While it doesn't always include full-text articles, it links out to great resources, including PubMed Central. Join for a brief overview of these two resources and how they can help your nursing and health science classes.

eBooks are an important part of academic research. Join us to learn about eBook access, the app to make it easier, and how to utilize searching to simplify finding the information you need in an eBook.

This session focuses on student-friendly tax breaks and common pitfalls. We'll take a look at American Opportunity and Lifetime Learning Credits, how scholarships/1098-T work, and basics for gig work - what counts as income, simple expense tracking, and when self-employment tax applies. A few short tax scenarios will help us along the way.
