Environmental Science

Environmental science majors learn the skills to solve complex environmental problems in areas like ecosystem science and restoration, environmental policy and planning, sustainable livelihoods and communities, climate science and environmental change, or water resources. Students participate in labs, field work and undergraduate reserach to prepare for transfer to a four-year institution.

Work with FVCC academic advisors to customize your degree so you're prepared to transfer and study Environmental Science. In two years, earn an associate degree, complete lower-level general education requirements, and prepare to transfer to any four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree.
