Lavonne Burgard Exhibit Opening Feb. 11

“Crane Marsh” is one of the large acrylic paintings by Lavonne Burgard that will be on exhibit at FVCC beginning Feb. 11.

FVCC Hosts Reception & Show for Artist Lavonne Burgard

FVCC’s Art Department will host an exhibit opening on Tuesday, Feb. 11 featuring pieces by Kalispell artist Lavonne Burgard. Free and open to the public, the opening will run from 4 to 6 p.m. in the gallery on the lower level of the Arts and Technology Building. Light refreshments will be served.

Burgard holds degrees in fine arts and arts education from Drake University. She taught art for more than 30 years in Iowa, Arizona, South Dakota, Australia and Kalispell. Her paintings have appeared in various galleries, with a selection currently hanging at Walkingman Gallery in Whitefish.
