FVCC to host Night at the Broussard showcasing health care careers

MISSOULA, Mon.t — Flathead Valley Community College is inviting the public to explore careers in health care during its “Night at the Broussard” event on Thursday, October 2.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rebecca Chaney Broussard Center for Nursing & Health Science on the FVCC campus.

Faculty, staff and students from more than 10 nursing and health science programs will present a hands-on health care simulation, giving attendees a look at what a typical day on the job can be like in a variety of medical professions. Visitors will also be able to tour FVCC’s facilities and learn about available programs.

Participating programs include certified nurse aide, practical nursing, registered nursing, medical assistant, medical coding, medical laboratory technology, paramedicine, phlebotomy, physical therapist assistant, radiologic technology, and surgical technology.

“Night at the Broussard” is free and open to the public. No sign-up is required, but more information is available at fvcc.edu/natb.
