FVCC Senior Institute registration begins

Flathead Valley Community College’s Senior Institute returns for another year of credit class offerings to community members 65 and up. Classes will be held every Friday from Feb. 13 to March 20, and registration begins Jan. 28.

Participants can choose from nearly 20 different classes with topics ranging from Creative Writing, Introduction to Letterpress, and Watercolor to Geology of the Flathead, History of Rock & Roll, and Desserts From Around the World.

Classes run from 1-3:05 p.m. From 3:30-4 p.m., students can enjoy refreshments and a program highlighting student support services and other FVCC learning opportunities. Tuition and fees include this and any materials or supplies needed for class.

Participants must submit a registration form to secure a spot in their preferred classes. Those new to FVCC or who have not enrolled in a credit course in the past two years, a non-degree application is also required, both found at fvcc.edu/senior-institute.

Enrollment is limited and classes filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning Jan. 28 at 8 a.m., register by email, mail or in-person on campus. Visit fvcc.edu/senior-institute for registration information and to download the full list of classes and registration form.
