FVCC Senior Institute classes begin this fall
Flathead Valley Community College is offering a new opportunity for community members 65 and up to take credit classes with FVCC’s Senior Institute Fall Edition.
Classes will be held every Friday from Oct. 3 to Nov. 7, and registration begins Wednesday, Sept. 10. Fall classes range from watercolor, introduction to letterpress, and creative writing to Lincoln’s history, history of Irish America, and healthy living.
Classes run from 1-3:05 p.m. with beverages and social time before class from noon-1 p.m. On Nov. 7, a full lunch will be served before class at 11:30 a.m.
Tuition and fees include these pre-class activities and any materials or supplies needed for class. Participants must submit a registration form to secure a space in their classes of choice. For those new to FVCC or who have not enrolled in a credit course in the past two years, a non-degree application is also required, both found at fvcc.edu/senior-institute.
Enrollment is limited. All registration forms will be processed beginning Sept. 10 at 8 a.m. However, registration can be emailed, mailed or dropped off prior to Sept. 10. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visit fvcc.edu/senior-institute for registration information and to download the full list of classes and registration form.
