Electronics Technician (AAS, CAS, CTS)

Electronic technicians transport, install, maintain, inspect, test, repair, replace and upgrade electronic and electrical equipment. Through hands-on experience and classroom lectures, students learn technical and interpersonal skills to prepare them for employment. FVCC’s Electronics Technician program equips graduates to analyze, configure, troubleshoot and assist in designing and measuring electrical and electronic circuits and systems.

Students can choose from three options:

I was drawn to the electronics program because I really like logic systems and programming. A huge plus is the amount of one-on-one time you get with instructors; you get a lot of feedback pretty quickly because of it. It feels like you're getting the whole package and we have a great group of teachers here.

Proof of a score of 55 (Level 1) or higher in Intro/Beginning Algebra on the FVCC math Placement OR an official copy of a transcript proving “C-“or better in M065, its equivalent, or higher math course. Read more about placement testing.
