Students are responsible for following their curriculum, meeting graduation requirements and/or meeting transfer requirements. Assistance in planning acceptable programs is available from faculty advisors and FVCC counselors. To be eligible to graduate, students must submit a Graduation Application and Degree Audit signed by their advisor. Given unusual circumstances, specific program requirements may be waived with the approval of the advisor, the instructor supervising the program and the Division Chair.

Step 1:

Print and review your Degree Audit with your Advisor. Your Degree Audit is available on the Student Portal. If you do not see your Degree Audit or have trouble accessing it, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (406) 756-3845.

Step 2:

Complete the Graduation Application form (PDF).

Step 3:

Submit a signed copy of your Degree Audit (see step 1), the completed Graduation Application form (see step 2), and any waivers and substitutions to the Registrar’s Office by the Graduation Application Deadline. See the Academic Calendar for current deadlines.

Step 4:

Online ordering for cap and gown is not available at this time. If you submitted your graduation application and marked that you will attend the ceremony, the Admissions and Registration Office will contact you when cap and gown ordering is available. Your cap and gown are free of charge. If you have questions, please contact the Registrar’s Office (406) 756-3845.

If you need special accommodations for the ceremony, please contact Coordinator, Disabilities Services at (406) 756-3376.
