FVCC is very proud to offer our students a number of institutional and non-institutional scholarship opportunities. Scholarships can be based on merit, financial need, or other criteria. FVCC is grateful to the many community donors who provide scholarship assistance to the students at FVCC. All students are encouraged to apply annually for all of the scholarships at FVCC.
FVCC Institutional Scholarships. By completing the Institutional Scholarship Application, you will be considered for all scholarships for which you qualify. Listed in this scholarship brochure are the scholarships currently available for the 2017-2018 academic year.
FVCC Academic Scholarship. If you are degree seeking, have earned 30 credits at FVCC, and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, then you may qualify for the FVCC Academic Scholarship. This scholarship will waive your tuition for two semesters and must be used within two years of establishing eligibility. For the application and/or more information, please stop by the Financial Aid Office.
Outside Scholarship Opportunities:
Benefis Foundation. Several scholarship to support student from Great Falls and the region pursue dreams of becoming healthcare providers. More information and the applications forms can be found at: www.benefisfoundation.org. Application deadline is June 1, 2017.
Whitefish Credit Union Community Pride Scholarship. Student can be either full time or part time. Student must be a resident of Flathead, Lake, Sanders, or Lincoln County. Applicant must possess strong potential for academic and career success. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need. Applications are available in the financial aid office. Application deadline for Summer 2017 is May 19, 2017 and for Fall 2017 is August 4, 2017.
FVCC Veterans Scholarship. $500. Funded by the Past Exalted Rulers from Kalispell Elks Lodge 725. Application is available in the financial aid office. Fall application deadline isAugust 1, 2017.
