FVCC is very proud to offer our students a number of institutional and non-institutional scholarship opportunities. Scholarships can be based on merit, financial need, or other criteria. FVCC is grateful to the many community donors who provide scholarship assistance to the students at FVCC. All students are encouraged to apply annually for all of the scholarships at FVCC.
FVCC Institutional Scholarships are now available to view and apply for directly online. By completing the Institutional Scholarship Application, you will be considered for all scholarships for which you qualify. New students must have applied for admissions to the college before they can apply for institutional scholarships.
Summer 2019 Scholarships
To be eligible students must have attended FVCC either Fall 18 and/or Spring 19 semester, demonstrate financial need, and have a have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA. To apply students need to complete the general scholarship application and then complete the FVCC Foundation Summer Scholarship application listed under recommended opportunities.
The priority deadline for applying for institutional scholarships was February 15, 2019. However, late applications will still be accepted through October 1, 2019 on a first-come, first served basis to be considered for any scholarships that haven’t been awarded or additional funding that becomes available. We encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible.
FVCC Academic Scholarship
If you are degree seeking, have earned 30 credits at FVCC, and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, then you may qualify for the FVCC Academic Scholarship. This scholarship will waive your in-district tuition for two semesters and must be used within two years of establishing eligibility. For the application and/or more information, please stop by the Financial Aid Office.
Private Scholarship Opportunities:
Central Montana Medical Center Auxiliary. Students must be residents of Central Montana (Fergus, Golden Valley, Judith Basin, Musselshell, Petroleum, and Wheatland counties). Applicants must have completed one year of college in a health related field. Applications are available in the financial aid office. Application deadline is May 1, 2019.
The Horatio Alger Career and Technical Scholarship. $2,500. At least 50 scholarships awarded in the State of Montana. Students must be enrolled Fall 2019 in a career or technical associates or certificate program, demonstrate financial need on the FAFSA, be under the age of 30, and be a US citizen. FVCC Veterans Scholarship. 5 @ $500 for Fall 2019 semester. Funded by the Past Exalted Rulers from Kalispell Elks Lodge 725. Student must be a Military Veteran to apply. Application is available in the Financial Aid Office. Applications deadline is September 20, 2019.
