Great Shake Out Earthquake Drill

In an effort to help us to keep our students and community prepared and safe we are asking for your participation and support in this year’s Great Montana ShakeOut earthquake drill on Thursday October 20, 2022. Students and staff may participate in this year’s Shakeout drill wherever they may be at drill time.

What to Expect: During this drill participants practice “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” (and other aspects of their emergency plans):

1. An announcement over the FVCC intercom system in all college buildings on the Kalispell & Libby Campus.
2. An emergency alert text message to those who have provided their cell phone number to the college.
3. An email from Omnilert to all FVCC email accounts
4. Emergency alert banner across all nova stations in use.
