It isn’t all about studying. FVCC offers hundreds of ways to get involved outside the classroom. Participating in intramural sports and recreational programs, performing in vocal and instrumental ensembles or theatre productions, making a difference in the community through service learning, or getting involved in student clubs and organizations are just some of the ways you can enrich your college experience at FVCC.

Besides receiving a quality education, FVCC students live in one of the most magnificent places on Earth with endless opportunities for year round outdoor recreation.

  • Glacier National Park is less than an hour drive from the FVCC campus, offering some of the most scenic hiking trails and campgrounds in the world.
  • Northwest Montana is full of fresh water lakes, hundreds and hundreds of them. Just 12 miles from FVCC is Flathead Lake, a fishing, boating and swimming oasis.
  • FVCC is located between two of Montana’s finest ski resorts, Whitefish Mountain Resort at Big Mountain and Blacktail Ski Area.
