Graduation

Commencement will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 in the Wachholz College Center’s McClaren Hall from 6-8pm.

Seating is limited in McClaren Hall. While no tickets are required, we request students limit guests to five or less to accommodate all families although more guests may attend. Doors will open to guests at 5pm and seating is on a first-come-first-seated basis.

The graduation ceremony at Flathead Valley Community College marks a milestone in your life and we truly hope you will choose to be part of this celebration as we honor you and your achievements along with those of your fellow classmates.

Four Steps to Graduation

STEP 1: Print and review your degree audit with your advisor.

As an FVCC student, you are responsible for following curriculum, meeting graduation requirements and/or meeting transfer requirements. Assistance in planning acceptable programs is available from faculty and advisors.

Your degree audit is available on the Student Portal. If you do not see your degree audit or have trouble accessing it, please contact the Registrar’s Office at (406) 756-3845.

STEP 3: Submit your documents

Submit a copy of your degree audit signed by your advisor (see step 1), the completed graduation application (see step 2), and any waivers and substitutions to the Registrar’s Office by the graduation application deadline. See the academic calendar for current deadlines.

STEP 4: Order your cap and gown online

Place your order for your cap and gown online. Make sure to click "There is no payment! Hooray!" in order to submit your order.

If you need special accommodations for the ceremony, please contact the disabilities services coordinator at (406) 756-3880 by April 22.
