The University of Montana offers a Doctor of Physical Therapy at its Missoula campus. It is the only physical therapy program in the state of Montana.

There are numerous Doctor of Physical Therapy programs throughout the United States. Application requirements vary among academic institutions; therefore, students are encouraged to research programs in which they are interested to determine application requirements, including minimum GPA, GRE exam scores, observation hours and program prerequisite coursework.

The Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) is a service of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). PTCAS allows applicants to use a single application and one set of materials to apply to multiple Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. Links to each programs application requirements can be found on the PTCAS website at http://aptaapps.apta.org/ptcas/programlist.aspx.
