Forestry Transfer Track

With an abundance of public and private forest lands, Northwest Montana is an ideal place to study forestry. FVCCs Forestry Transfer Track emphasizes opportunities to observe field management situations and interact with practicing professional foresters. Many of the courses include field components and utilize advanced technology such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Work with FVCC academic advisors to customize your degree so you’re prepared to transfer and study Forestry. In two years, earn an associate degree, complete lower-level general education requirements, and prepare to transfer to any four-year institution to earn a bachelors degree.
