Tickets on Sale Now for FVCC Chef's Table Spring Events

The students of The Culinary Institute of Montana at Flathead Valley Community College will present two Chef’s Table events this spring in the FVCC instructional kitchen. Now in its seventh year, this unique program allows guests to experience exceptional fine dining while supporting culinary arts students as they complete their first-year internships. Patrons will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and a three-course meal prepared, plated and served by culinary arts interns.

On April 17, the students will present a special winemaker dinner. The menu will feature  Alaskan halibut cheeks; surf and turf: escolar and seared Wagyu beef “Korean BBQ Style” with fresh kimchi and yuzu-brown butter emulsion; and a dark chocolate, peanut and caramel tart with chocolate rum ice cream.  Each course will be paired with selected wines. Tickets are $95 per person.

On April 24, Chef’s Table will partner with local breweries to pair food with handcrafted microbrews. As breweries continue to expand in Northwest Montana, the art of pairing food and brews is growing in popularity. Tickets for the event are $75 per person.

Both events will begin at 6 p.m. Reservations are required. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early due to limited seating. Tickets can be purchased and additional information can be found at www.fvcc.edu/chefstable or by calling 756-3632.
