Scholarships Help Students Continue and Complete College: Fall 2015 Scholarship Application Deadline is March 16

Scholarships can make a difference for students at Flathead Valley Community College. A recent study indicated that 75 percent of students who receive scholarships at FVCC continue or complete their education, compared to 58 percent of students who continue or complete their education without scholarship assistance. Last year, 407 FVCC students received $588,000 in scholarships, thanks to the generosity of businesses, individuals and organizations in this community. Scholarship opportunities are growing, and students are encouraged to apply.

“Your generosity makes my future possible,” said Casey Schwab, FVCC scholarship recipient. “With your contribution, you have shown me that you believe I have what it takes. I am forever grateful.”

Students planning to attend FVCC during the 2015-2016 academic year have until March 16 to complete a common scholarship application, making them eligible for the majority of scholarships available at the college. Application forms and a scholarship brochure with additional information can be accessed at www.fvcc.edu/scholarships, or printed copies can be obtained at the Financial Aid Office in Blake Hall on the FVCC Kalispell campus.
