Scholarships Help Students Continue and Complete College

Fall 2016 Scholarship Application Deadline is March 15

Students planning to attend Flathead Valley Community College during the 2016-2017 academic year have until March 15 to complete a common scholarship application, making them eligible for the majority of scholarships available at the college. Application forms and a scholarship brochure with additional information can be accessed at www.fvcc.edu/scholarships, or printed copies can be obtained at the Financial Aid Office in Blake Hall on the FVCC Kalispell campus.

Last year, 450 FVCC students received $801,407 in scholarships, thanks to the generosity of businesses, individuals and organizations in this community who contribute to scholarship funds and attend fundraising events.

“Because of our donors and my professors at FVCC, I will be successful,” said Brian Leukuma, an FVCC scholarship recipient who is studying engineering. “You have made all things possible. The fact that we have financial assistance available to us is a testament to the character of people in our community.”

For more information on scholarship opportunities at FVCC, call Financial Aid Associate Director Danelle Whitten at 756-3842 or dwhitten@fvcc.edu or Foundation Associate Director Sue Evans at 756-3963 or sevans@fvcc.edu.
