Registration for Fall Classes at FVCC Now Open for New Degree-Seeking Students

logo_180iphoneRegistration for fall classes at Flathead Valley Community College is now open for degree-seeking students who are not currently enrolled at the college. Running Start and non-degree seeking students may register for fall classes beginning May 23.

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. College administrators encourage students to register as early as possible to ensure they are able to secure a seat in their priority classes.

New degree-seeking students applying for admission to the college are required to complete an application for admission and provide high school transcripts or diploma and an official copy of college transcripts, if applicable. Additionally, new degree-seeking students must supply proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations and complete placement testing at FVCC before registering for classes. The application for admission may be completed online at or in the Admissions Office at no cost. The deadline to apply for admission to FVCC is Aug. 18 for students planning to take fall classes.

Non-degree seeking students are subject to different admission requirements.

FVCC will hold an informational session on the Running Start program on May 19 at 6 p.m. in the large community room of the Arts and Technology Building on campus. Running Start offers eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. The first six credits are tuition-free for in-district students. For more information about Running Start, contact Beth Romain at 756-3923.

Registration is now open for all students interested in taking classes this summer. The complete schedules of summer and fall classes and course descriptions are available at For more information, contact the Admissions Office at 756-3851.
