Missoula Comedian to Perform at FVCC

Flathead Valley Community College will welcome stand-up comedian Michael Beers of Missoula for a performance he will deliver for the community March 4. Presented by the college’s Appreciating Individuality, Challenges and Excellence (AICE) Support Group, the free event will provide members of the community an opportunity to enjoy live comedy while supporting students with disabilities at FVCC.

Beers is a disabled comedian who has been performing for the public for four years. His dialogue will feature stories of his life growing up with a disability in Montana with his mother, three sisters and their family dogs, among other topics of interest.

Open to the public, the event will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the FVCC Theatre inside the Arts & Technology building on the college’s Kalispell campus. Donations to support AICE and students with disabilities, which comprise 10 percent of the college’s student population, will be accepted.
