Lisa Blank enters race for Kalispell City Council
KALISPELL, Mont. — Municipal Elections are coming up in November and in Kalispell, another candidate has joined the race for Kalispell City Council.
Lisa Blank has lived in Montana since 1997 and is running for Ward 2 on the city council.
Blank is currently the executive director of workforce development at the Flathead Valley Community College.
She's also a board member for Montana West Economic Development and a citizen’s volunteer for the Northwest Montana Lakes Network.
Blank says she will bring collaborative solutions to the table focused on the needs of the community.
“As well as making it a place where we can find solutions such as affordable housing and maybe its public-private partnerships for affordable housing,” said Blank. “So, people can live and work in the same place as opposed to having to drive in because they can’t make it happen here in this community. So, it’s just keeping Kalispell home and doing that together.”
