FVCC to Host Informational Session on Ecuador Study Abroad Program

Flathead Valley Community College will host an informational session on its upcoming Ecuador study abroad program February 7 at 6 p.m. in room 144 inside the Arts and Technology Building on campus.

The 13-day program will take place May 21 through June 2.  Participating students will have the opportunity to earn up to nine college credits while they explore the capitol city of Quito, the Galapagos Islands, and the Amazon Basin.  During the informational session, attendees will preview a slideshow and hear a discussion about the natural environments and current ecological issues of these unique regions which will reflect some of the study abroad program course topics.  Anyone interested in learning more about the program is invited to attend the session.

Space in the program is limited and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  A deposit of $1,000 is required by March 8 to secure a seat in the program.  The remaining balance of $2,700 is due by April 5.
