FVCC to Hold Lecture on Treating Diabetes for Native Americans

Flathead Valley Community College’s Multicultural Affairs Office will host a free lecture on treating diabetes for Native Americans on February 23.

Facilitated by Wheeler and Maureen Little Dog from the Blackfeet Indian Nation, attendees will discuss natural and native healing for Native American people who suffer from diabetes.  The presentation will include a combination of Eastern, Western and Indigenous healing approaches, along with a focus on the importance of nutrition and food selection for all forms of diabetes treatments.
