FVCC to Accommodate College Bound Wildland Firefighters

Flathead Valley Community College is committed to working with students who are fighting wildfires with plans to attend college this fall semester.  Student firefighters who have not registered for classes will be provided an additional two weeks past the beginning date of the fall semester to finalize their class registration and financial aid.  The extension applies to students directly involved in fighting wildfires or those providing support services to fire crews.

Applicable students who have pre-registered for courses need to contact Marlene Stoltz at 756-3846 or at mstoltz@fvcc.edu by September 2 to request the extension. 

The fall semester begins August 29.  Students granted the extension will be required to complete their academic coursework upon their arrival at FVCC.
