FVCC Theatre Holds Auditions for International 10 Minute Play Festival

Flathead Valley Community College Theatre will hold auditions March 14 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. for its second biennial International 10 Minute Play Festival slated to take place at the college April 27 and 28 and May 4 and 5.

The production will be comprised of 12 original 10-minute plays selected from over 500 submissions from across the nation and the globe.  Each play will be cast and directed by a different FVCC directing student.

For the auditions, participants should prepare two contrasting one-minute monologues–one Shakespearian and one contemporary.  One of the pieces should be comedic, and the other should be serious.

Auditions will take place in the FVCC Theatre inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC campus.  Auditions are open to the public, and acting experience is not required.  Comfortable clothing and shoes are encouraged, and willingness to have fun is required.
