FVCC Running Start Registration Begins August 19

Flathead Valley Community College will begin registering area high school juniors and seniors for its Running Start program August 19.  The Running Start program provides eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit at half the cost of tuition.

High school students interested in enrolling in the program are required to meet with their high school counselors before registering for courses at FVCC.  In order to register, each student must have a completed non-degree application to FVCC, a completed Running Start program application, an official high school transcript and have completed the COMPASS placement test.  Students attending home school or a private high school who register for six or more credits are required to provide proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations.

Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis. The schedule of credit classes is available on the college Web site at www.fvcc.edu/schedules.  Registration will take place in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
