FVCC Running Start Now Enrolling for Summer Classes
Area high school students can now register for interim and summer session classes at Flathead Valley Community College through the Running Start program. The program provides eligible incoming high school and homeschooled juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn affordable college credits while taking classes at the college campus.
The Running Start program provides in-district high school students the first six Running Start credits at no cost in tuition and institutional fees. Subsequent credits are offered at a significantly reduced cost. Some courses offer dual credit opportunities which allow students to gain high school and college credits simultaneously.
Interim session courses will begin May 26, and summer classes will kick off June 22 and July 20.
Interested students and parents should contact their high school counselors or FVCC High School Relations Coordinator Beth Romain for enrollment information. To learn more about the Running Start program, visit www.fvcc.edu/runningstart.
