Flathead Valley Community College will graduate its 49th class on May 12 during the college’s spring commencement ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on the campus lawn adjacent to the Rebecca Chaney Broussard Center for Nursing and Health Science.
FVCC will recognize 379 students for completing graduation requirements during the 2016–2017 academic year. The college will award 351 associate’s degrees and 70 certificates, with some individual students earning more than one degree and/or certificate. Commencement speaker will be former FVCC student Major Jason Curtis, a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, combat veteran and former F-16 pilot for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
This will be the first time in the college’s history that the spring commencement ceremony will be held on campus.
