FVCC Protégé Salon and Muse Style Hold Fashion Show Benefit for Abbie Shelter

Flathead Valley Community College Phi Theta Kappa is teaming up with Protégé Salon and Muse Style to Inspire to host a Fashion Show fundraiser for the Abbie Shelter June 1 at FVCC.

The event will feature makeovers showcasing the hottest looks of the season.  All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the local Abbie Shelter.

The Abbie Shelter was established to give battered women in the community the opportunity to think, feel and live in a safe and warm environment.  Shelter services include crisis intervention, peer counseling, information and referrals, access to medical, economic and legal assistance, emergency transportation, education on domestic violence issues, non-judgmental support and court advocacy in filing Orders of Protection and Crime Victims Compensation claims.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the large community meeting room inside the college’s Arts and Technology Building.  Tickets are $20.  Door prizes from area businesses will be awarded.

Tickets are available at Flathead Valley Community College in the Service Learning Office inside Blake Hall, Protégé Salon in Kalispell or Muse Style to Inspire in Bigfork or by calling 756-3908, 752-4247 or 837-2400.
