FVCC Offers Winter Wildlife Photography Workshop

Award-winning and internationally-published photographer Nick Fucci of Bigfork will teach a non-credit winter wildlife photography workshop at Flathead Valley Community College December 13.

Students will learn techniques for photographing wildlife in natural environments. The workshop will provide students a unique opportunity to work closely with the wildlife on the world-famous Triple D Game Farm, featuring species seldom encountered in the field.

Fucci’s works have won awards in Alaska Magazine’s & Cowboys & Indians magazine’s photo competitions and in the Alaska Society of Outdoor and Nature Photographers’ juried photo competition. He is a three-time finalist of the Nature’s Best Photography Windland Smith Rice International Photography Awards. His work has been published in over 70 different magazines, books and calendars throughout 11 countries including cover images in Alaska magazine, Flathead Living magazine and die PIRSCH magazine in Germany.

The workshop will meet December 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost to enroll is $159, and preregistration is required.  Call 756-3832, or visit www.fvcc.edu/continuing-education.html for more information or to register for the course.
