FVCC Offers Social Media Marketing Introductory Course

Flathead Valley Community College is offering an introductory course on social media marketing starting January 20. The three-credit course will focus on how to leverage social media as an effective marketing and public relations tool.

 

Instructors Courtney Fullerton, owner of Glacier County Honey Company, and Maggie Doherty, beer ambassador and public relations for Kalispell Brewing Company, will teach students how to create and implement effective social media marketing plans. Designed for business owners or professionals in charge of marketing and public relations, the course will teach students how to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and other social media platforms to promote their businesses and organizations.
The course will meet Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. through May 14.

 

Returning FVCC students with completed admissions files can register for the course on the college’s website, www.fvcc.edu. Others can register in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call Dawn Rauscher at 756-3861.
