FVCC Offers Late-starting Fall Courses

Flathead Valley Community College is now registering students for its fall semester late-starting courses scheduled to begin in October and November. Students are encouraged to register early, as classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Courses beginning the week of October 5 include Medical Document Formatting, Introduction to Public Speaking, Basic Electricity I, Graphic Design I, Interactive Web I and Introduction to Psychology. Courses beginning the week of October 19 are Health Care Delivery, Microsoft PowerPoint, Forestry Navigation and Metal Art Design. Other courses offered include Introduction to Ceramics starting October 28, Workplace Safety starting November 7, Motion Picture Appreciation starting November 10 and Professional Business Communication starting November 16.

 

Class registration is open to returning students. Before registering for classes, returning students with current admissions files should contact their faculty advisors or an academic advisor in the FVCC Learning Center by calling 756-3880. New degree-seeking students applying for admission to the college are required to have a complete admissions file, which includes completed application for admission; high school transcripts or diploma and an official copy of college transcripts, if applicable; proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations; and completion of the COMPASS placement test. Non-degree-seeking students are subject to different admissions requirements and should contact the Admissions Office at 756-3851 for more information.
