FVCC Offers Jump Start for Supervisors Training

Jump Start for Supervisors graphicFlathead Valley Community College will offer “Jump Start for Supervisors,” a comprehensive training series designed for new supervisors or supervisors seeking formalized training or new ideas and techniques to apply in the workplace.

 

Presented by the FVCC Continuing Education Center, “Jump Start for Supervisors” will focus on topics ranging from transitioning to supervisory positions, effective communication, conflict management and performance coaching to time management, creating strong teams, accountability and leadership development.

 

Management Consultant and Trainer Allison McCarthy will bring over 25 years of management and leadership experience to the series. She is a former manager of credit, accounting and distribution for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, system analyst for Pentagon Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C., and vice president of distributed systems for First Interstate Bank of Washington in Seattle. Since 1995, she has operated her own management and computer training business in the Flathead Valley.
