FVCC Offers Informational Session on Summer 2014 Peru Study Abroad

Flathead Valley Community College invites the community to an informational session on its Peru study abroad program January 29.

Designed to challenge students’ senses and beliefs, the summer cultural immersion program will take place June 9-27 in the “The Sacred Valley” outside Cusco, Peru.  “Exploring Digital Photography” and “Cultural Anthropology: Peru” courses will be offered during the program through Flathead Valley Community College.

Program highlights include exploring Inca archeological sites, trips to Machu Picchu and Aguas Caliente, taking part in a community service project building Adobe bricks for local homes, sightseeing in Cusco, staying in a traditional Quechuan home in “The Sacred Valley” and experiencing traditional Inca meals and local cuisine.
