FVCC Offers Free Adult Basic Education Courses

Flathead Valley Community College will offer free adult basic education classes July 5 through August 11 in Kalispell and Libby for area residents 16 years of age and older who are not currently enrolled in high school.

Classes will prepare participants to take the Montana High School Equivalency Test, formerly General Education Development (GED), and will focus on building basic reading, writing, math, computer and/or study skills. Additional assistance will be available to help participants create career plans and prepare for further education or specific job requirements.

For more information, call FVCC’s Adult Basic Education Director Margaret Girkins at 756-3884.
