FVCC Non-Credit Course Schedule to Hit Mailboxes This Week

Flathead County residents will receive copies of the spring 2012 Flathead Valley Community College non-credit course schedule in their mailboxes this week.  This spring, the FVCC Continuing Education Center is offering more than 160 educational, affordable and enriching non-credit classes.

New classes offered this semester include “Italic Calligraphy for the Beginner,” “Flathead Birding,” “Introduction to Beadweaving,” “Woodworking for Beginners,” “Cardio Kickboxing,” “Love in Greek Mythology,” and “Conversational Italian.”

Several new computer and business workshops will be offered including “A Gentle Start in Word and in Excel,” “E-Commerce – Your Internet Store,” “Beating the Odds:  Leadership and Success in a Lousy Economy,” “Think like the Customer; Act like the Owner,” “Profit Mastery: Creating Value and Building Wealth,” and “Performance Coaching.”

Favorites returning this spring will include classes in massage, drawing, Spanish, photography, cooking, writing and guitar.

Registration is ongoing throughout the semester.  Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  Copies of the spring schedule also are available at the FVCC campus and on the FVCC Web site.  Registrations can be completed online at www.fvcc.edu/continuingeducation.html, or by calling (406) 756-3832.
