FVCC Hosts Organ Donation Presentation

In recognition of National Surgical Technologists Week, the Flathead Valley Community College surgical technology program will host a free community lecture on organ, tissue and cornea donation September 24 at 6 p.m.

Presented by Nicole Weiher, hospital development program manager at LifeCenter Northwest, the lecture will provide information on becoming a registered donor, donation options and the donor registry. Other frequently asked questions about the topic will be addressed. Following the presentation, Weiher will field questions from the audience.

Open to the public, the event will take place in rooms 123C and D inside the Learning Resource Center on the college’s Kalispell campus.
