FVCC Hosts Montana Organic Association Conference

FVCC’s Agriculture Program will host the Montana Organic Association Conference in Kalispell December 1-3. Registration is now open for the conference.

FVCC’s Agriculture Program will host the 14th Annual Montana Organic Association Conference and member meeting December 1-3 on the Kalispell campus. The theme of this year’s conference is “The Heartbeat of Organics: Stimulating the Pulse of Our Producers, Consumers and Policymakers” and will include presentations by a variety of organic agriculture experts, including farmers, researchers, policy analysts and business specialists.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. John Reganold, a professor of soil science and agroecology at Washington State University. Conference participants will also have the option of touring a local organic farm and a local organic beef ranch.
