FVCC Hosts Aluminum Can, Scrap Metal Drive to Benefit Student Scholarships

The Flathead Valley Community College Renewable Resource Club will host an aluminum can and scrap metal drive October 19 to benefit the Glen Ford Memorial student scholarship.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind Blake Hall near the Eagle’s Nest Café entrance on the college’s Kalispell campus.  Signage will be provided on campus to guide community members to the drop off location.

The club will continue to host monthly aluminum can drives to benefit the cause.  Club members encourage FVCC students, college employees and community members to save their aluminum cans and to deposit them at the college during the drives.
