FVCC Early Registration for Spring Courses Begins Today

Running Start Early Registration Begins December 11

Early registration for returning students to enroll in spring semester 2013 credit courses at Flathead Valley Community College begins today.  Early registration for new students begins December 4.

In order to register, each degree-seeking student is required to have a completed admissions file which includes a completed application, high school transcripts and college transcripts if applicable and proof of two measles, mumps and rubella immunizations.  The application may be completed on the college’s website at no cost, or a paper application may be completed.  Degree-seeking students also are required to complete the COMPASS placement test and meet with an advisor prior to registering for courses.  Non-degree seeking students are subject to different admissions requirements.

Spring semester classes will begin January 22, 2013.  The spring course schedule and admissions information can be accessed on the college website, www.fvcc.edu.  Classes will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  Students can register in the college’s Admissions Office in Blake Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on the college’s website.  For more information, call 756-3846.

Area high school students can register early for spring semester classes at FVCC beginning December 11 through the Running Start program which provides eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credits.  The college’s tuition program enables eligible in-district high school students to enroll in their first six Running Start credits at no cost in college tuition and institutional fees.  Subsequent credits are offered at a significantly reduced cost.  Interested students and parents should contact their high school counselor or FVCC Running Start Coordinator Elizabeth Romain at 756-3847 or at eromain@fvcc.edu.
