FVCC Concert Series Continues with Free Concert by Guitarist Steve Eckels

Flathead Valley Community College will continue its fall concert series November 6 featuring FVCC music faculty and guitarist Steve Eckels.

 

Eckels holds a master’s degree in music from New England Conservatory and a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music. A National Board Certified guitar teacher, Eckels is the author of numerous books for Mel Bay Publications, and he performs frequently around the Flathead Valley.  An advocate of wellness and lifelong learning, his most recent project has been arranging and recording the famous songs from operas.  Eckels is also the guitar instructor for Flathead and Glacier high schools.

 

The free concert is the third of a six-part series presented by FVCC music faculty and students and guest artists.

 

Open to the public, the event will take place at 7 p.m. in the large community room inside the Arts & Technology building on the college’s Kalispell campus. For more information, call Nicole Sanford at 756-4813.
