Flathead Valley Community College’s Art Department will host an art show opening and awards ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 4 featuring student work. Free and open to the public, the opening will begin at 4 p.m. in the gallery on the lower level of the Arts and Technology (AT) building. Light refreshments will be served.
The show will be juried by Flathead Valley artist Marshall Noice. Awards will be given to students for exceptional 2-D and 3-D works. The show will remain on display until Dec. 14.
FVCC’s Art Club will hold its annual Holiday Art Sale Dec. 3-5 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the second-floor lobby of the AT building. A variety of mediums will be available for purchase, including ceramics, jewelry, photography and more. Proceeds from the sale benefit the activities of the club.
