FVCC and Literacy Volunteers to Hold Book Drive

Students in Flathead Valley Community College’s leadership class, under the instruction of Don Nerdig, will host a book drive to benefit the Literacy Volunteers of Flathead County April 15 through April 19.

The event will aim to promote literacy and recruit new learners by giving the donated books to kids, teens and adults at local food banks and other service agencies.  Community members are encouraged to donate their new or gently-used books for the cause.

Donation boxes will be housed in the foyers of every building on the college campus.  The buildings will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
