Friendship Force of the Flathead Valley to Present Lecture at FVCC

Flathead Valley Community College will welcome representatives from Friendship Force of the Flathead Valley for a free presentation they will deliver to the community October 14. “A World of Friends is a World of Peace” will be open to the public and will take place at 7 p.m. in room 144 in the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC Kalispell campus.

 

The presentation will share how Friendship Force of the Flathead Valley has been contributing to world peace for nearly 30 years. The panel, comprised of new members and experienced world travelers, will discuss how their organization is promoting a healthier, more peaceful world.

 

Friendship Force International was founded in 1977 and has over 18,000 members in 377 communities across 60 countries. Friendship Force International provides opportunities to explore new countries and cultures from the inside by bringing people together at the personal level. Through the signature program of home hospitality, local hosts welcome international visitors into their culture, sharing with them meals, conversation and the best sights and experiences of their region.
