Deadline to Apply for Admission to FVCC’s Associate of Science Nursing Program is September 30
Flathead Valley Community College is now accepting applications for spring entry into the Associate of Science Nursing (ASN) program. The deadline to apply is September 30 at 4 p.m. Graduates of the program will be eligible to take the national registered nurse licensing exam (NCLEX-RN).
FVCC’s two-semester ASN program is designed for individuals who are already licensed as a practical nurse or who have completed a Montana State Board of Nursing approved practical nurse program and are eligible to take the national practical nurse licensing exam.
Admission criteria include: completion of pre-requisite courses, a valid Montana Practical Nurse License or an official transcript showing completion of an approved practical nurse program and completion of the current FVCC ASN application. Final acceptance requires an interview with FVCC nursing staff and faculty, a background check, proof of required immunizations and proof of current personal health insurance.
In addition to completing the ASN application, students who are not already enrolled at FVCC are required to complete the FVCC application for admission and follow the steps for enrolling in the college, including submitting official transcripts if transfer credits are to be considered.
