"A Midsummer Night's Dream" Opens October 11 at FVCC
On a midsummer night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule. William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will come to life on stage at Flathead Valley Community College October 11-13 and 18-20.
“Add a misapplied love potion, mistaken identities and the most famous play-within-a play ever written, and you have a perfect recipe for mirth,” FVCC Theatre Director Joe Legate said. “The language, poetry and wit of Shakespeare shine as bright and as lovely as the moon in this timeless classic.”
Performances begin at 7 p.m. in the campus theatre located inside the Arts and Technology Building. Tickets are available online at www.fvcc.edu/theatre, at the FVCC Bookstore, and at the box office before the show. Ticket prices are $5 for students, $7 for seniors and $10 for general admission. This play is recommended for theatre patrons 12 years of age and older.
