Drawing a Rectangle with Rotating Arrows

May 2 @ 12:00 pm - 12:50 pm

Broussard Library Classrooms, BL214/215
We use a custom-built graphical application run on a tablet to demonstrate how a “Fourier Series” can be used to draw simple 2D shapes. We discuss the mathematics used, the development process leading up to the prototype, the software coding approach, typical uses in the real world, and additional references for continued learning.
