English as a Second Language

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes teach adult, non-native speakers of English to communicate through speaking, reading, and writing. The courses also provide cultural education for living and working in the United States.

Through interactive and engaging activities, students build their English language vocabulary to better integrate into local communities. Students are able to engage more effectively in government, education and workplace environments. The course also provides preparation for the U.S. Citizenship test.

Classes are open to enrollment year-round. Students will complete a pre-assessment to determine class placement.
