You will find a network of support at Flathead Valley Community College. Whether you’re looking for guidance in applying to FVCC, financial support or assistance with academic or personal issues, you’ll discover a welcoming and dedicated community interested in meeting your needs to help you succeed.
Admissions and Registration.
Our “open door” policy means you’re welcome to enroll at FVCC if you’re 16 years or older. An admissions representative will walk you through the process of filling out forms, submitting information and seeking the type of program and classes that best fit your needs. If you’re a degree-seeking or full-time student, you’ll be assigned an academic advisor as soon as you are admitted so you’ll receive assistance registering and planning your schedule.
Academic Services.
You’ll find a wide array of academic support services available on the FVCC campus.
Advising and Counseling.
Whether you’re seeking a degree, a certificate, transferring to FVCC or preparing to transfer to another institution, FVCC advisors will guide you through registration, offer new-student orientation and make sure you’re prepared for graduation or to transfer to a four-year institution. Our counseling staff, located in the Learning Resource Center, assists any student seeking personal, career or academic counseling.
Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Nearly 80 percent of FVCC graduates receive some type of financial assistance. If you’re a degree-seeking student, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so we can determine your eligibility for federal or state aid. We also offer more than 130 institutional and privately funded scholarships annually. For a complete list of scholarships available, visit the financial aid team.
