Admission/Financial Aid 101

At FVCC, your student is a name not a number: Our students come first.

Exploring the many options your son or daughter has to further their education can seem demanding. There are many challenges that face every new college student.  At FVCC we will work with your student to ensure these challenges are not overwhelming.  You don’t need to worry about your son or daughter getting lost in the shuffle.

Get tips from other parents who have already gone through this process with their son or daughter.  Look at some frequently asked questions to clarify any immediate questions.

Our admissions process is straightforward and uncomplicated.  Look through the admission requirements and steps to apply to see for yourself how effortless the process is.  We are here to help guide your son or daughter through the admission steps.  We encourage you and your child to meet with our student admissions representative, Beth Kelly, to answer any questions.  She can be reached at (406) 756-3847 or bkelly@fvcc.edu.

The cost of higher education is always a concern.  We are glad to let you know that Flathead Valley Community College is one of the most affordable colleges in Montana.  62% of our students received some sort of financial aid.  There are many variations of aid available and it all starts with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.   We also offer a wide variety of scholarships.  Contact the Financial Aid Office to start planning for the costs of your son’s or daughter’s higher education.
