FVCC has been engaged in assessment for more than a decade. The college has established a structure to oversee FVCC's assessment efforts consisting of a 13 member Assessment Board and seven Abilities Councils.  The college has made great headway, and it is the general consensus that the momentum will increase as faculty continue to gain appreciation and understanding of this process.
